cap-1UPDATE: 21st November 2016

Exciting news! Our new advice centre, the first step towards our bigger vision of SPARC, will be opened in January when we will start our CAP Job Club on 10th Januray 2017 for the long term unemployed. Christians Against Poverty (CAP) are a wonderful organisation to work with.

CAP is well-regarded within the money advice sector and is a member of the Money Advice Liaison Group (MALG). CAP’s external affairs staff regularly meet with policy makers and respond to Government consultations.
Image result‘CAP are unsurpassed when it comes to the debt help they give people across the country. There’s nothing better to start you on the path to having more money in your pocket.’ –
Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert
Martin Lewis regularly recommends CAP to people who are in debt and struggling emotionally to cope.
He has listed CAP in his Guide to Mental Health and spoken about CAP on BBC2 Jeremy Vine’s programme.

Our exciting new project at St Peter’s.

We are very pleased to announce that we have been granted full planning permission to convert our halls into a fabulous Activity and Resource Centre.

There will be rooms available for resources and advice for families, debt problems, breast feeding clinic etc.

The Ark @SPARC

This will include a Soft Play Activity room for children up to the age of 11 years called The Ark. This will be a multi-level area with slides, ball pool, bish bash and lots more – there will be an integrated but enclosed area just for babies and toddlers. It looks like it will be LOTS of fun!!

There will be  a café area where you will be able to supervise your children whilst sipping on your coffee and enjoying our freshly made cakes and snacks, and party rooms to hold children’s birthday parties.
